Entryway console: 10–14″ deep and 36″ left to walk
A 14″ console fits where a 20″ one blocks the way.
Entries come down to one sum: width minus a 36″ (91 cm) walking path is your maximum furniture depth. A 50″ entry takes a 14″ console; a 46″ one takes 10″; a 42″ one takes hooks and a ledge. Consoles run 10–14″ deep and 30–34″ high. Keep the door's swing clear: a 36″ door sweeps a 36″ quarter circle. Hang a mirror with its center about 57–60″ from the floor, a bench seat near 18″ and coat hooks around 60–66″.
